Venues – Elmley Nature Reserve
Without a doubt my favourite wedding venue, Elmley Nature Reserve on the Isle of Sheppey has a breathtakingly huge and ancient barn at its heart, and offers camping, stylish shepherds’ huts and a newly-refurbished farmhouse to accommodate your guests. Enjoy a breakfast barbecue around the fire pit on the morning after and don’t forget to take binoculars: the wide expanse of grazing marsh provides an important habitat for wildlife.
Venues – Preston Court
This enchanting venue is set in a secluded private estate near Canterbury. Surrounded by ornamental lakes and gardens, Preston Court has many eclectic features including 17th century barnyard, beautiful vintage mechanical organs, carousel rides and steam engines, as well as a romantic moated island.
Venues – MC Motors
This industrial location in Dalston, London, oozes dilapidated character and charm with the skylighted roof providing an abundance of natural light. There are a number of different floors available with parquet, mezzanine and oak boards all revealed at various points. The main space is bisected by a preserved Victorian street. Castle Gibson operates a number of eclectic venues around London.
Venues – Chiddingstone Castle
Nestled in 35 acres of gardens that run down to a tranquil fishing lake, this historic house is full of character. We have hundreds of country house venues in Kent, but this seems to be the least corporate.
